For today’s tutorial, white Eustomas take the center stage that takes only minutes to arrange!
Eustomas are a great option if you’d like to have a whole lot of fresh flowers at your event without breaking the bank. You get a whole lot of Eustoma flowers in a bunch rather than when you buy a bunch of roses at the florist. It’s an economical choice too since they’re pretty affordable and they can bloom larger than our local roses. And another plus side to Eustomas are, they smell amazing!
Can you tell I’m a HUGE fan of the gorgeous Eustoma? But let’s get on to the actual tutorial now shall we..
These were leftover flowers from another project that I was doing, which meant I had them slightly prepped (I had only cut it off from the bunch). The next step is to cut the stem to the right length. I had cut the stem of the eustomas to be slightly longer than the glass vase.
Next, fill the vase halfway through with water.
And the arranging begins! My trick is to start with the larger blooms and work your way to the smaller buds. Just watch the gif to see how I arranged this posy!
For this small Eustoma posy, the proportions are, 2/3 large white blooms and 1/3 small green buds (all from the same Eustoma bunch bought from the store). Yes people, you get white and light green flowers from the same bunch! And I like mixing colors in my bouquets, and I like it even more if I don’t have to buy two different bunches of flowers for that effect, haha!
Eustomas are also easy to work with, and with a little arranging, it can look elegant and impressive too!
