I managed to find this awesome picnic blanket the last time I was in the US, and I just couldn’t wait to put it in action! I went for a fresh and vibrant vibe this time around. Fresh flowers and fresh fruits added a little extra pop of color on top of the colors from the picnic blanket and the cushions.
This setup is perfect if you’re surprising a special someone for a weekend brunch. It’s a super simple look to recreate, since it’s pretty much just throwing everything onto the blanket. Watch the GIF to see the step-by-step on how I did this look!
If you noticed in the GIF, I had laid down a plastic sheet under the picnic blanket. The picnic blanket itself is water resistant, but for safe measure, an extra sheet of plastic doesn’t hurt! These plastic sheets are super cheap, they are only a couple of Ringgit at your hardware store and it’s a massive sheet of plastic (which I had cut to the size that I needed). I use these sheets when I’m spray painting, so that means I always have stock of it with me at all times (yes, I spray paint THAT much).
And here’s the moodboard!
